½ oz. lemon balm leaves, dried
½ oz. hop flowers, dried
½ oz. valerian root, dried
1 oz. passionflower leaves, dried
Crush the herbs in a pestle and mortar and store in an airtight tin. To make a bedtime tea that will aid restful sleep, put 2 teaspoon of the herb mixture in a teaspoon, pour on boiling water and infuse for 15 minutes. Pour through a tea strainer into a cup and drink half an hour before bed. You can sweeten the tea with a little honey, if liked.
Caution: Avoid if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
